BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The NATCOM is directed by a Commissioner as Chairman and six other Commissioners appointed by the President for 5-year terms and confirmed by the House of Parliament.
The Act is silent about the political party affiliation of the Commissioners, though in practice the Chairman should have the confidence of the President.
The National Telecommunications Commission have a Director General who is the administrative head of the Commission.
There are five (5) major departments under the Director General followed by two (2) units, IT Unit and Procurement Unit. The major departments are headed by Directors namely:
- Corporate Resource Management
- Legal Administration
- Consumer and Corporate Affairs
